#49-hiding2#49The latest hidden art for RB Beach Glass is a framed copy of a miniature pastel painting by Susan Will. It’s sealed in a sandwich-sized Ziploc to protect it from the elements with the Beach Glass tag attached with bright yarn.

Susan is the volunteer artist that began and manages RB Beach Glass: A Hidden Art Odyssey under the sponsorship of the Richmond Beach Community Association (RBCA). She works in a variety of media and arts and crafts from painting to jewelry to set design to sculpture. Her specialty is abstract pastel paintings and she has shown and sold her work in west coast galleries for over 20 years. Her pastel portfolio is available at fineartamerica/susanwill.com.

Susan has been active in the community since she and her family moved to Richmond Beach 22 years ago. She served as RBCA vice president and is currently the editor of the Richmond Beach Community News for the second time. (Her first time as editor was in the late 1990s.) She also served as vice president of the founding Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation board and as president of the Shoreline-LFP Arts Council.

The miniature pastel painting was created at 100% the size of the copy for a special juried miniature art show.  As always, the art is free to whoever finds it. Happy hunting !
